The Hobo Rebellion vs. Rollermania
Some of you may be familiar with an important historical event that we're only now learning more about through the efforts of 'historian' John Hodgman.
Of course, I'm referring to the highly controversial HOBO REBELLION. If you're unfamiliar with this event, please see this Daily Show clip.
Now imagine that the Hobo Rebellion, in full force, came face to face with another force of nature. This one was a real, but short-lived (and tartan-clad) phenomenon known as "Rollermania"--a frenzied hysteria associated with the Scottish pop band, The Bay City Rollers.
If these two movements went head-to-head, who would prevail? It's time to throw on your kilt, freeride on a train, and debate which of these movements would emerge victorious.
Discuss.

Although I would be more knowledgable on who would win the Tonya v. Shannon fight, I will comment anyways. My recent trip to San Francisco gave me the opportunity to meet many hobos, a few entertaining, but most hostile. Hell hath no fury like a hobo scorned. Hobos would kick some roller trash, especially if those pansies interrupted their joint rolling to challenge them to a fight.
I think those are some good points, but you're grossly underestimating the power of tartan. Men in kilts are intimidating - haven't you ever seen 'Braveheart?'
i think the hobos are going down, unless they've recently been to the big rock candy mountain. if so, they'll have energy and confidence something fierce.
I think Burke's point about Big Rock Candy Mountain is well taken. Of course, Rollermaniacs will only get that hyped up after hearing "Saturday Night" a la Mike Myers in "So I Married an Axe Murderer"
